I'm David West, a 38 year old Aquarian who's been playing computer games since 1980. Married with two young children, work for an internet bank in a technical support role.

I like playing football (badly), webdesign and writing online games, watching F1 and playing online games including racing obviously!

Started playing racing sims on the ZX Spectrum when Chequered Flag came out in 1983, progressed through Revs, the Grand Prix series and then Indy 500 before playing NR2003. I've raced on a few online leagues including the Grand Prix Champions League back in 2002 using GP3 until I found V8 Thunder.

Raced for Speedworx (now SRD) for the first 4 seasons or so and then moved to Team Ecosse, where I still race in Trophy. Highlight was winning the Lites title and since then I've not won a race, need to sort that out soon. Started Whirlwind when Alan Strang told me he wasn't entering TE in Lites and created the team as a home for the TE fugitives!
